Alleppey also known as Alappuzha, one of the best-known ports along the coast of Malabar, is referred to as the Venice of the East, built on the banks of a network of canals.

Idukki
Located in the southern part of Kerala, Idukki is a landlocked district spread over an area of 5019 sq. kms.

Kannur

Trichur (Thrissur)
Trissur or Trichur, often called the cultural capital of Kerala. Its most prominent feature is the Vadakkunathan temple which has Shiva as its presiding deity.
